Our services include designing prescription eyeglasses, protective athletic eyewear and sunglasses. Sharon Optical has a full service lab where we edge and dye lenses. We offer expert repairs and adjustments on most frames. We can produce some single vision eyeglasses within an hour.
Sharon Optical is one of the few true independent optical shops around, thus eye exams are not done at the store. If you are in need of an eye exam, we can refer you to an optometrist or an ophthalmologist in the local area.
Carl has worked closely over the years with Dr.’s Kirber and Tantri at Connecticut Eye Consultants, P.C., formerly known as Lakeville Eye Associates.
After getting your eye exam you can stop in at Sharon Optical with your prescription for eyeglasses or by appointment for contact lenses.
We can provide all your contact lens needs, from a new contact lens fit to refitting contacts, to placing your contact lens order. We can mail eyeglasses and contact lenses to any location in the United States.
